Japenese Tsunami

Hey girls,

check out these websites and youtube clips of the Japenese tsunami. The wave was ten metres high and was travelling as fast as a Jumbo Jet. It only took fifteen minutes to hit the coast of Japan after the initial earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Richter Scale. The impacts are tragic and it will take a long time for Japan to recover. Fortunately Japan has lots of help and some of the best rescue services in the world. Have a think about what might be some of the economic, social, political and environmental impacts. What might be primary and what might be secondary effects:
